What did you think of the Myanmar Upstream Summit?
I think the 2013 Myanmar Upstream Summit is very valuable for us because so many of our foreign investors came for resolutions and they are getting more of an understanding on our market, the MOGE and the ministry of energy. So I think this is good, particularly for them, so it is a very valuable summit in 2013.
What was your overall experience of the Myanmar Upstream Summit?
After the summit, we will have to get more understanding between foreign investor and Myanmar ministry of energy because Myanmar ministry of energy opened 2nd bidding round for onshore and also they will be launching future offshore, shale, LNG.
Today global energy is significantly rising and growing significantly so there is demand, so how to encourage, how to fulfil the demand every day we consider especially for the domestic capacity of Myanmar.
Myanmar Energy is growing very quickly so that’s why we are waiting for the reputable companies, especially for the technical, local and foreign investment. So that’s why we are coming to summit and more understand our restrictions so there is a good opportunity for them and if we work together with the wider industry, we will get both beneficial for both parties so that is a good opportunity for them and also for us.
Today’s summit is a very very valuable summit for everybody.
